Bfm commenced broadcasting in 1983. It was one of 7 community radio stations to go on air in Sydney. Known origilly as 2BCR, the radio station origilly commenced broadcasting from old World War II classrooms in the premises of the Georges Hall Community Centre. We are now part of a new sector, which has over 140 stations across Australia.
